By visiting our website, creating an account, uploading artwork, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit an order.
About DTF District
DTF District is a Maryland-based custom printing company offering products and services that may include:
- Custom DTF transfers
- DTF gang sheets
- UV DTF stickers and decals
- Custom apparel
- Embroidery
- Banners and signs
- Promotional products
- Business and event merchandise
Product availability, pricing, specifications, and production time may vary.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority where you live to place an order.
If you use the website on behalf of a business, organization, school, team, or another person, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms and submit orders on their behalf.
Website Use
You may use the website only for lawful personal or business purposes.
You may not:
- Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activity
- Attempt to access another customer’s account
- Interfere with website security or operation
- Upload viruses, malicious code, or harmful files
- Copy or exploit website content without permission
- Use automated systems to scrape or overload the website
- Submit false contact, billing, shipping, or payment information
- Upload artwork you do not have permission to reproduce
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.
Customer Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
Provide accurate and current account information. Notify DTF District immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
We may suspend or close accounts associated with fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse, security threats, or repeated policy violations.
Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to display accurate product descriptions, colors, sizes, images, prices, and availability.
However:
- Screen colors may differ from printed colors.
- Product measurements may have reasonable manufacturing variations.
- Materials, finishes, and garment colors may appear different under various lighting conditions.
- Product images may be illustrative and may not show every available option.
- Printed and embroidered products may contain minor variations resulting from the production process.
Contact us before ordering if a particular specification is essential to your project.
Orders and Acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products or services. An automated confirmation only confirms that we received your order.
DTF District may review, accept, decline, place on hold, or cancel an order because of:
- Payment issues
- Suspected fraud
- Product or material availability
- Pricing or website errors
- Incomplete customization information
- Unusable or missing artwork
- Suspected intellectual-property violations
- Production limitations
- Safety or legal concerns
If we cancel an order, any appropriate refund will be issued in accordance with applicable law and our policies.
Custom Orders
Most DTF District products are custom-made, personalized, or printed to order.
Customers are responsible for confirming:
- Product selection
- Size and color
- Quantity
- Artwork dimensions
- Spelling and wording
- Design placement
- File transparency
- Gang sheet layout
- Shipping address
- Required completion date
Once production begins, custom orders generally cannot be changed, canceled, returned, or refunded except as stated in our Return and Refund Policy or required by law.
Artwork Requirements
Customers must submit print-ready artwork that meets the requirements listed on our website.
Unless otherwise approved, artwork should be:
- High resolution
- Created at the intended printing size
- Properly cropped
- Free from unwanted backgrounds
- Correctly oriented
- Spelled correctly
- Legally authorized for reproduction
Low-resolution, pixelated, blurry, compressed, or incorrectly prepared artwork may affect the finished product.
DTF District may identify obvious artwork problems but is not responsible for detecting every error before production.
Artwork Rights and Permission
You retain ownership of artwork you legally own.
By uploading or submitting artwork, you grant DTF District a limited, nonexclusive license to store, review, reproduce, resize, process, and share the artwork with necessary service providers solely for quoting, production, fulfillment, customer support, recordkeeping, and related business purposes.
You confirm that:
- You own the artwork or have permission to use it.
- Reproducing the artwork will not violate another party’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- The artwork and requested product are lawful.
- You have obtained any licenses or approvals required for commercial reproduction.
DTF District may reject or cancel an order involving content that appears unlawful, infringing, deceptive, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate for production.
Copyright and Trademark Complaints
If you believe content submitted to or displayed by DTF District violates your intellectual-property rights, contact support@dtfdistrict.com and provide:
- Your contact information
- Identification of the protected work
- Identification of the disputed content
- An explanation of your rights
- Supporting documentation
- A statement that the information provided is accurate
We may remove content, pause production, request additional documentation, or cancel an affected order while reviewing the complaint.
Gang Sheet Orders
Customers using a gang sheet builder or uploading a completed gang sheet are responsible for the entire layout.
Before ordering, confirm:
- The canvas matches the size purchased.
- All designs are within the safe printing area.
- Designs do not overlap.
- Enough cutting space remains between designs.
- Every design is correctly sized.
- The background is transparent.
- No guides, grids, labels, or crop marks remain unless they are intended to print.
- Text and design orientation are correct.
Anything visible in the submitted gang sheet may be printed. DTF District is not responsible for customer-created layout, spacing, sizing, spelling, or background errors.
Proofs and Approvals
When a proof is provided, review it carefully.
Approval confirms acceptance of:
- Design content
- Spelling
- Colors
- Size
- Placement
- Product selection
- Overall layout
Production may begin immediately after approval. Customer-requested changes after approval may require additional payment and production time.
A proof is a visual representation and may not perfectly reproduce final color, material texture, or exact physical dimensions on every screen.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Customers are responsible for:
- Product charges
- Customization charges
- Artwork or setup fees
- Shipping costs
- Applicable taxes
- Approved additional services
Payment must be authorized and successfully processed before production begins unless DTF District has approved different written payment terms.
We may correct pricing, product, discount, or calculation errors. If an error affects an order, we may contact you for approval before proceeding or cancel and refund the affected order.
Promotional Codes
Promotional codes:
- Must be used before expiration
- May be limited to eligible products
- Cannot be combined unless stated otherwise
- Cannot be applied after an order is completed
- Have no cash value
- May be canceled when obtained or used fraudulently
Additional restrictions may appear with a specific promotion.
Taxes
Applicable sales tax may be calculated based on the order, product type, and delivery destination.
Customers claiming tax-exempt or resale status must provide valid documentation before the order is processed as exempt. Approval is not automatic and may require verification.
Production and Turnaround Time
Production estimates begin after DTF District receives:
- Successful payment
- Complete order details
- Print-ready artwork
- Required customer approval
Artwork problems, order changes, missing information, material availability, and delayed customer responses may extend production time.
A requested event date or deadline is not guaranteed unless DTF District confirms it in writing.
Shipping and Delivery
Production time and carrier delivery time are separate.
Shipping methods, delivery estimates, free-shipping qualifications, tracking, carrier delays, lost packages, and address responsibilities are governed by our Shipping Policy.
If we cannot ship merchandise within a promised timeframe, we will handle the delay, consent, cancellation, or refund as required by applicable law.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and deliverable shipping address.
Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
Custom and personalized products are generally final sale.
Eligibility for a remake, replacement, store credit, return, or refund is governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
Contact us immediately if you need to request a change or cancellation. Requests cannot be guaranteed after payment, artwork approval, material ordering, production, or shipping-label creation.
DTF Transfer Application
Customers are responsible for using compatible garments, proper heat-press equipment, and the correct temperature, time, pressure, peeling method, and finishing press.
Heat presses, fabrics, dyes, coatings, and environmental conditions may produce different results. Test one transfer before applying an entire order.
DTF District is not responsible for damage or application failure caused by incorrect equipment, settings, pressure, peeling, garment selection, washing, or care.
UV DTF Application
UV DTF products must be applied to clean, dry, smooth, and compatible surfaces.
Adhesion may be affected by:
- Dirt, oil, or moisture
- Rough or porous surfaces
- Flexible materials
- Surface coatings
- Incorrect positioning
- Attempted repositioning
- Improper cleaning or aftercare
Customers should test an inconspicuous area when surface compatibility is uncertain.
Care Instructions
Customers are responsible for following all provided pressing, application, washing, drying, and product-care instructions.
Failure to follow the instructions may reduce product durability and may make the order ineligible for a refund or replacement.
Website Content and DTF District Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its original content—including text, graphics, graphics, layout, photographs, branding, and design elements—belong to DTF District or its licensors.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or commercially exploit website content without written permission.
Submitting customer artwork does not transfer ownership of that artwork to DTF District beyond the limited license described in these terms.
Reviews and Submitted Content
If you submit a review, testimonial, photograph, comment, or other non-private content for publication, you confirm that it is truthful, lawful, and does not violate another person’s rights.
You grant DTF District permission to display, reproduce, and format that content for website, customer-service, and promotional purposes. We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, irrelevant, or misleading.
Third-Party Services and Links
The website may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, shipping carriers, social networks, analytics providers, and other websites.
DTF District does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, policies, or practices. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.
Privacy
Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
By using the website, you acknowledge that online systems involve third-party hosting, payment, communication, and shipping providers necessary to operate the store and fulfill orders.

Marketing communications are subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
Website Availability

We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue website features when reasonably necessary.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and online services are provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:
- Website access will always be uninterrupted
- Every technical error will be corrected immediately
- Product colors will appear identical on every screen or material
- Customer-submitted artwork will produce a particular result
- Products will be suitable for an undisclosed purpose
- Carrier delivery will occur by an estimated date
Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DTF District will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses resulting from website use, customer artwork, product misuse, application errors, carrier delays, or third-party services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, DTF District’s total liability related to a specific order will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product, except where a different remedy is required by law.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold DTF District harmless from third-party claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from:
- Artwork or content you submit
- Your violation of another party’s intellectual-property rights
- Your unlawful use of the website or products
- Your violation of these terms
- False information or unauthorized instructions submitted with an order
This section does not apply where prohibited by law.
Events Beyond Reasonable Control
DTF District is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, utility failures, internet outages, labor disruptions, supply shortages, carrier interruptions, government actions, public emergencies, or equipment failure.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays and provide any remedy required by law.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Disputes that cannot be resolved informally may be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Maryland, except where applicable law gives a consumer the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Before filing a formal claim, we encourage you to contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions when our services, policies, technology, or legal obligations change.
Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise stated or required by law.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy, product descriptions, artwork requirements, and any written order-specific agreement, form the agreement between you and DTF District regarding website use and purchases.
